I hope the GNU GPL v3 gets approved for one-way compatibility from
CC-by-sa.

As I have already said in the past, I would have preferred an explicit
conversion clause included in CC-by-sa-v4.0, but it's now too late for
this.

Anyway, I would encourage CC to also consider the GNU GPL v2 for
one-way compatibility from CC-by-sa.
