Dear All,

Though this event is not directly related to CC, designers on the
mailing list who are interested in "CrowdSourcing", please take notice
of the following event:

Hong Kong International Design and Innovation Forum brings you Mr.
Kohei Nishiyama of cuusoo.com Japan, and Douglas Young of GOD.com.hk.

Cuusoo.com allows users to submit their "wishes", and work with
designers to get their wishes made into real life products! Both MUJI
and LEGO are working with cuusoo.com to reach out to Japan's designers
and regular consumers communities.

G.O.D. is one of the most famous home grown brands of Hong Kong. Their
designs are inspired by Hong Kong's unique cultural identity, they're
often iconic but with a twist, so the people of Hong Kong can
immediately identify with, while putting a smile on their faces.

So come listen to these visionaries who have been hard at work pushing
the design and innovation envelope for the past 10 ~ 20 years! You
will be able to hear their experiences, and there will be time for you
to tell them your personal views and struggles in the 2nd half of this
forum event. Let us hear your problems and try to work together to
come up with solutions for a better future!

The main purpose of this event is to inspire the youngsters of Hong
Kong, broaden their views and help them look at the big picture.

Date: 02 May 2009
Time: 11:00 - 15:00
Location: GOD Street Culture Museum, 30 Pak Tin Street, Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon

It seems that Joi Ito is helping cuusoo.com to learn about CC. Hope
they can understand soon.
