Hi Folks,

Sorry if this was solved and I missed it...

cfdisk is definitely confused by an unpartitioned drive because it
tries to read the partition table BEFORE doing anything else. If you
start it with the '-z' option, cfdisk will assume a zero partition
table and not try to read it first....That should solve the problem.

caveat: I know nothing about scsi drives but i assume this applies.
