I did bring a keyboard from USA. I learned to type in American keyboards and I'm too old to try to adapt myself to another kind of keyboard. Most (99,99%) of keyboards sold in my country (Brazil) are Portuguese ABNT-2.

I can not say Basic Linux is a popular linux in Brazil, but could be. I'm finding it a very nice choice for some old machines with low memory and low storage capabilities.

> > I'm not a foreign keyboard user, so I can't comment
> > on this from personal experience. However, several
> > foreign users told me the foreign keyboard support
> > in BL1 was not very helpful. Apparently you need
> > to install the full keyboard package from Slackware
> > (which can be done with BL1 or BL2 or BL3).

>The compiled binaries on the BL site were not very instructive at

>old DOS user decided finally to learn Linux ;-)
