I am not sure what the question is.

Basically the root QNY in BH is common in the sense of "purchase" and rare in the sense of "create"(Gen 14:22) which is also found in Phoenecian.

In spite of modern Europeanized pronunciations (see http://www.houseofdavid.ca/anc_heb_5.htm#prob2 ) Q was not confused with K in Biblical Hebrew (see http://www.adath-shalom.ca/history_of_hebrew2.pdf ) and any historic link between QNY and KNS is most unlikely - they do not have even one phoneme in common.
