The -el fraction of the name means 'tall, lofty, elevated' (compare BLIYAAL = BLI-YAAL of Dt. 15:9). It is also possibly a hidden EL. YA- could be the personal pronoun 'she', or also theophoric.

The root XBR is a variant, methinks, of GBR and QBR, 'piled-up, large, huge'.
