I read the article. From what I know of C14 dating the range given, 1000-975
BC is too narrow. Of course, the article is not a scientific report so the
usual confidence intervals and details of the analysis are not given.
Consequently we need to reserve judgement until the peer reviewed articles
appear. Archaeological work is slow and difficult so it may be some years
before we see those. A translation alone was said to me some months away.
