As if to supplement my prior brief response on the subject, it is now
being discussed with specific references, some including detailed
criticism of Ian Young and his position in ANE -2.

See specifically the papers and reviews mentioned in messages
6427 and 6428 (so far)

Karl,

Let's try and think about it clearheadedly. If YLD is 'give birth,
bring forth', how come YELED is 'boy'? Is YELED 'one given birth to,
one brought forth'?
