JW:
Following is a comparison of the wording of Isaiah 7:14 with Genesis 38:24.
Some wording is similar and both are information given to a 3rd party. The
main difference is 38:24 is not a prophecy.

7:14---------------------------------------38:24
הִנֵּה----------------------------------------הִנֵּה
ene----------------------------------------ene
behold ! ---------------------------------behold !

הָעַלְמָה
e·olme
the·damsel

הָרָה--------------------------------------הָרָה
ere---------------------------------------ere
pregnant-one------------------------pregnant

Comparison of 38:24:

HNH - Imperative to observe an existing physical condition. I think the
context is clear that Tamar was visibly pregnant and HNH here has a meaning
of
"observe" with a connective physical presentation. Tamar is loaded for Bar.
Supports HNH of 7:14 having a similar meaning.

H(LMH - No such identification required since the offending partier is
identified by name. Supports an understanding that H(LMH of 7:14 is only
needed to
help identify to a 3rd person.

HRH - Looks like a Verb once again in the Perfect. Supports HRH of 7:14 as
also perfect.
