Peter:

There is no attempt to change history that says that there were two
tablets of stone upon which were written the ten statements of the
treaty between God and Israel (Exodus 34:28, Deuteronomy 4:13, 9:9,
11, 15), words which God wrote, what is questioned is what did Moses
write in the book? And where did the people read it?

What we are objecting to is what appears to be Rochelle's claim that
the whole Torah (Genesis through Deuteronomy) was written on walls
around the temple, for which we can find no evidence. Instead the
evidence that we can find is that Biblical era Israel did not follow
Egyptian and ANE practice of putting their most important law
documents out on public display nor inscribe them on tablets.

Karl, I haven't been following all of this in detail, but are you really
trying to deny that the commandments were written on stone tablets?...
