Dear all!
How do you explain the variation of long I and E in Hafel of hollow verbs in Biblical Aramaic? I failed to find an explanation in the standard reference grammars. Why does the Tiberian Masora thinks that in Dan 5:21; 6:16 there is a yattir yod?
Thanks,
Sergey Lyosov
