I think that strongly indicates that the high god of this people was
El and not Yahweh, inspite of later syncreticism (eg Ex 6:2).

The name must be a verbal form, ysar, he will something.
El will prevail, persist, endure, do battle.
It is interesting that the theophoric is El and not YHWH.
