I'm using the latest version of xf86-input-evdev, and it works great.
No crashing or anything. So I'd say this could be committed. I was
about to commit it, but noticed the revert. Is the latest version of
the evdev the upstream stable? If so, we should have it committed.
The only issues with X I've run into are my fiddling with trying to
turn on OMFG graphics with intel, and suspend/resume.
