Hmm, I'm using devfs. Strange thing is: the mouse *does* work, it's just the
scrollwheel that doesn't. I also did another experiment to figure out what was
wrong. I unplugged the mouse with scrollwheel from my laptop (where it does
work) and plugged it in my other box. Then I copied the mouse-section of the
XF86Config from my laptop and tried: no luck...

I'm at home now so I'm going to try the ExplorerPS/2 in the morning.
