[permaculture] PC Ethics/ US Military Debate

Wow....

what a discussion...

I understand the emotional charge of the issue, but since I´m not
American, nor that heavily inclined to some politized left/ right
good/bad thinking, I have not a single problem with Scott Pittman giving
permaculture lectures to the US military....,

from a systemic perspective, this is actually desireable and could be
interpreted as on syptom of a great change happening somewhere ... or
even desesperation (probably more true in the present context), - it
should become increasingly obvious even to the big leaders, that
conventional means of solving our problems (which include fighting
resource wars and all related mess) get ever more inefficient and
actually don´t work at all-

To the activists worried about the dilusions of permaculture ethics, I
recommend to remember that the stregth of permaculture is the diversity
of tools and strategies... "the opposite is also true" even if it comes
to these delicate issues as f. ex. the US Military...
