I'm no expert on this, and now I'm wondering if the maypop fruits I've tasted have been hybrids, but passionfruit can be stored similar to most other fruits. Just keep them in a cool, dry place, preferably with lots of air movement around the individual fruits. They should keep for at least a month. Banana passionfruit (Passiflora mollissima) can even be picked before totally ripe and will ripen in storage over more than a month. If you can manage to create a microclimate for these (as in a greenhouse) they will really brighten up the Winter diet.
