Our local eco-building guild is working toward monitoring several
projects... they put their proposed methods online and they dig in
pretty deep... looking at change of discharge per rainfall event between
green roof and control.
You could also talk more in terms of 'potential storage' and compare
'field capacity' soil to dry soil for the volume of the roof.
