Yes! Though IMHO a perry would be better than a pear wine. a juicer will work
just fine. Most of the home winemakers around here use a steam juicer for all
their country wines, and they claim it makes a superior wine to simply crushing
the fruit.

Subject: [NAFEX] Fruit juice to wine?

I continue to be interested in making wine from Kieffer pears. I have some fruit
to try a batch, however, I am unable to locate a fruit press to rent locally.
Can I use a juicer to extract pear juice in lieu of a press?
