I have moved 6 or so large native azaleas recently plus several fairly large camellias. Too crowded after 10 years or so. Some still need moving, but am just getting over my back ache :o)) One I moved yesterday was about 8 ft tall, but only moved it 5 or 6 feet.

Skip, here in west Tx. we have mountain lions ,and many deer. The game warden recommends a single strand off the ground about 6" to one foot, around the perimeter.A 14 foot fence will not keep out mountain lions, but the strand will. The premise is that the animal will not see the electric wire ,and get zapped, thus staying clear.I know I am mixing lions and apples here ,but the big cats want in whether its goats or little cats they're after.-try it.peace,matt.It seems strange to me that big cats want into an orchard-maybe its just in their way.

I spent 6000$ on invisible fence.I have extreme deer pressure. The fence works great .The dogs don't.I have a husky, beagle and a shepherd mix.The dogs run around all day then sleep at nite when the deer are out.I don't know if I need different dogs or different breeds.Someone told me to pen them up during the day.Any ideas? thanks Skip so. zone5-6
