Showed up here as: 98°F

that is, nine eight ampersand poundsign one seven six semicolon F

I don't know how much of the problem is the NAFEX list, though; I think 
it may be different email programs. My degree sign º comes through 
NAFEX and back to me just fine; but someone apparently reported it as 
having turned into something else. If the problem were the list, I 
would think it would also come back to me garbled.
