[NAFEX] Clove currant ideas

Seems like maple syrup would overwhelm the taste of the currants, or at 
least change it so much  you could use almost anything that didn't have 
any really strong, nasty taste.  Trade the syrup to someone else who 
makes good jam, if nothing else.
