Here, the BT was sprayed by helicopters two weeks ago. We received info by mail that this was going to take place.
I find the caterpillars on plants but nothing has been touched. Some are still alive but weak. Only the cherry trees carrying the original web are chewed. Some caterpillars are still in the web, but they are small and not very active.
Other little worms, like the green one with dark head that is found in a terminal leaves on apple trees does not seem to be affected.

Look for at least 24 hours before they begin to die - normally however they
cease eating almost immediately upon consumption. We have very active BT
Kurstaki that was prepared in Feb 2000.

BT-kurstaki....I found an old bottle of this my wife had for cabbage moths,
mixed up a 1:200 ratio and sprayed tent catapillars last night. They are
still happily a chewing this sunnny morn.

Does anyone know the storage life of this stuff (liquid in brown bottle
  stored in the dark)?

On the lable are punched some difficult to decipher numbers, how to
  translate?

Has anyone experience with spraying tent catapillars....how long should I
expect this bacteria to take to do them in?
