Hello again, Daron.
Sorry, I totally ignored Linux stuff...(I'm Solaris-man-in-fact)
Oracle HS for Linux not available in 9.2, try to use 10g instead.

Sincerely yours.

Subject: [freetds] Generic Connectivity Using ODBC

Hi,
   I have oracle 9i on linux redhat 9, and the MSSQL is runing on window
2003. I try with no luck and having the same problems. Hope can get some
hints from you guys.

TNS:01201 : listener cannot find executable
/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/bin/hsodbc for SID DBSTAF.
Listener failed to start

initDBSTAF.ora
# This is a sample agent init file that contains the HS parameters that are
# needed for an ODBC Agent.

#
# HS init parameters
#
HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = DbStaf
HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = off
HS_FDS_SHAREABLE_NAME = /usr/local/lib/libodbc.so

#
# ODBC specific environment variables
#
set ODBCINI=/etc/odbc.ini

Thanks

Daron
