Hi All,
Did anyone use unixODBC and freetds to successfully access Sybase?
I tried different configuration options on freetds, such as
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/freetds
--with-unixodbc=/usr/local/unixODBC --enable-sybase-compat
and/or --with-tdsver=4.2.
tsql -S visdb -U <username> -P <password> works fine and Perl DBD::Sybase
also works fine.
But isql -v visdb <username> <password> always failed with the following
error:
[unixODBC][FreeTDS][SQL Server]Unable to connect to data source
[unixODBC][FreeTDS][SQL Server]Login incorrect.
[unixODBC][FreeTDS][SQL Server]ASA Error -83: Specified database not found
[ISQL]ERROR: Could not SQLConnect
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot in advanced.
