Jessica,
this is a good occasion to say that though I think we haven't met since
Sapporo, I've been so appreciative of your contributions in the debates
and your team's work, that I cannot not feel a little sense of loss with
your moving on. However, hoping that you'll continue contributing and
spreading the spirit of sharing, I have no doubts that you'll have just
as much success and make just as much difference with your next job.

I'll miss the organisation and community terribly, and I'm pretty sure I'll always regard this as the best job I ever had. But I'm looking forward to stretching my wings a bit, and trying my hand at a new job in the broadcasting sector for a bit.

CC has moved from bring seen as the domain of the geeks, bloggers and academics to mainstream acceptance - as demonstrated by the fact that it is now the default licence for both the Australian Parliament House and the Whitehouse websites.
