[cc-community] What about Safe Creative? (sorry if off-topic)

We have been talking with them on their project and more...sure try it
out and give feedback here and to them...they are a form of registry,
which you be hearing more about in the future on many fronts...

IANAL: The idea of a registry is important for showing some type of date
on your work in case of a dispute, to ascertain public domain status
further (although a death date is more important...although possibly
morbid ;)

Have you tried http://rightsagent.com too? The idea there is to be a CC+
provider, registry, and provide reputation around re-use...
