Eva,
Hebrew has already (ABIM, 'clouds' in addition to )ABOT,
'forefathers'. Both come from the single-consonant root AB = BA,
'essential, big, high, tall', also appearing in the doubled form BB.
The extended root )BH [as well as )WH], 'desire', essentially refers
to something that grows, rises or materializes in the heart --- an
emotion. A young Hebrew speaker today would say: BA LI FALAFEL, I
desire now a falafel. Related to AB are AW, WW, AP and PP. Touch your
nose with your finger and you will understand why the Hebrews call it
AP.
