Bandwagon logical fallacy in that the "mainstream" is appealed to, i.e. the
majority. Just because the majority believe something, does it make it
correct? Is it possible for the majority to be incorrect?
Appeal to authority logical fallacy in referencing "scholarship" as if
scholars were always correct. Do you believe that scholars are always
correct?
