Yigal,

RICHARD N. OSTLING's original aritcle cited both the ark
and the temple as well as Ezekial's vision of the Temple
area.

The point is the same however for a legendary wooden box of
300 cubits or Solomon's historical temple of 60 cubits or
Ezekial's imaginary temple precint; a cubit does not need
to be standardized to useful. So long as the same arm is
being used on a particular project, that is all that
matters. That Noah's cubit would have been different from
the the cubit of Hiram's carpenters and masons is of not
the slightest consequence to either project on a practical
level. They work just as well whether their cubits match
or not.
