Regarding the $2500 Base Package ...
It seems to me that the Site License Base of $2500 just get's you the Red
Hat Network Proxy Server and then either $7/FTE or $25/WS and $50/AS. If
you aren't going the $7 / FTE route (for UNC somewhere near $40k) then it's
$25/WS and $50/AS which is the same as the cost for educational users
purchasing individual annual subscriptions. Right?
For those of you talking to Red Hat, what am I missing here? Why should we
fork over the $5k to Red Hat? Is it worth $5k to have Systems Grouping,
Systems Permissions, Scheduled Actions, System Search, Package Profile
Comparison, Custom Channels, and Local Package Caching?
