The problem with the "just one spell" argument is that, at least on my test
box, there are 59 installed spells which list a dependency on libxml2.
Some need the icu optional dependency enabled and I'm not even talking about
the spells who have their dependency on libxml2 missing in DEPENDS.
Obviously I did try to rebuild the spells that depend on icu after that spell
was updated. But that didn't work because, as you said, libxml2 was broken.
