First, why have the symlink if you're not going to use it? If the user
has the /boot/vmlinuz symlink created, presumably that will be so they
can just use that instead of the full version release named image file
in their bootloader config. Second, doing a sed -i for the user (sedit
is not an actual command, it's something that sorcery provides in its
scripts) is a lot more complicated and bug-prone than just letting the
user handle their own config, and the directions for the bootloaders
clearly state that the user needs to ensure that it points to the actual
kernel image they wish to use.
