Huum... I'm not sure to understand what the problem is : ln -fs will
overwrite any existing file which has the same name as the created
symlink. It's more or less equivalent to rm the previous file then
create the new symlink, isn't it ?
Maybe you talk about a missing $INSTALL_ROOT at the end of the ln line ?
I've just seen it while answering your email.
Maybe the INSTALL script has to be fixed with ln -fs and INSTALL_ROOT in
both openoffice2-bin and openoffice3-bin ?
