So exactly what would have been your idea in this case? Leave curl
broken? What are the new features of 0.17 that are so important? I
don't think we should leave a spell just broken for the sake of an
"updated" version.
One of the wonderful things about Sourcemage is that for those users
that are advanced enough to want some new feature of a library, it is
very easy to just bump the version on your own system.
