Hm, I am not sure if he really meant it that way... I don't have the IRC log
anymore but remember having read that line and your specific question and I
_think_ it was not clearly "should I put $*_ROOT in there?".
Perhaps Karsten can repeat his reasoning here?
Because I _know_ that when there is no stage root / castfs going on, this
code will read the host's /etc/sysconfig which is clearly wrong in
INSTALL_ROOT (chroot building) cases.
Of course when you realize that you don't need init.d for working chroot
(able to compile stuff), you can cast it after entering and all is fine...
