They can always use git_http to grab the grimoire :)
Also another thing... He's also a debian developer, we should start
setting up chains of trust with other distros.
But as said one 28k file won't do much diff in a 5mb grimoire :) Though
it's nowdown to 16k.
he issue is we need better default_build and default_install functions
that can handle various options.
NOTE not sure about the syntax but I know there's a way to get a
variable somewhat like that.
Also another option:
if [ -e Makefile ] ; then
make
elif [ -e SConstruct ] ; then
scons foo
elif [ -e configure ] ; then
./configure
elif [ -e JamFile ] ; then
jam
elif [ -e autogen.sh ] ; then
NOCONFIGURE=1 ./autogen.sh
elif....
Having something like that in a default_build might acctually reduce the
ammount of BUILD files and with it start to reduce the total size of the
grimoire.
