1. No, it is not prefered, at least from what I googled. oh IMHO prefered,
just say "I prefer" :P
Removing one line that does the job is a lot cleaner than dealing with env
vars. Complementing the default PRE_BUILD vs rewritting default BUILD or
*gasp* exporting.
2. I guess Kmail is mentioned in there, be cause it was moved to kdepim
upstream.
