I have posted very many reference articles on no till for gardeners and
farmers to the Permaculture list. Do a search of the message archives and
you will find many useful articles.
The info I have posted below should contain some things you can use and
provide a starting point for locating more at ibiblio and elsewhere on the
Web. See further down about searching the permaculture list archives.
You should also do a thorough search of You Tube videos. This is only the
tip of the iceberg. Time spent doing detailed, creative searches would
reveal a considerable amount of information useful to the Moldovan farmers.
Following links on out to an array of sites on the subject is usually what
happens when you research topics like no till on the Web, using Google and
other search tools. As I said this is only the tip of the iceberg so let me
know if you can use more help with this. I will probably post an edited
version of this reply; stacked functions: multiple uses for one completed
task.
*And this sourcelist I put together - I included my own thoughts about no
till and minimum till agriculture*
*though it primarily focuses on gardening but could be scaled up for larger
scale production broadacre farming*
Here is more in yet another website of mine:
These are pictures of the fields I prepared on my own farm here in North
Carolina and the equipment I used to get it done.
This involved massive tillage but the intent was to prepare the soil for no
till cultivation of crops. In other words one time heavy duty soil
preparation
then no till thereafter. Fields with crops plated after the tillage are
shown also.
