Am looking at this page now. I am solely in the camp of the traditionalists
of mostly European origin, specifically French with some English and German
elements. Essentially this means a properly located, with regard to in flow
and out flow or rainfall and irrigation water, and minimum till
biointensive raised beds of a width enabling the gardener to reach to the
center of the bed without having to step on it and a length that fits the
needs of the gardener and harmonizes with drainage requirements. This would
be the old French Intensive biological or biodynamic natural raised bed
gardening method written about so widely for so many decades by authors
such as Aquatias, Chadwick, Jeavons, Coleman
