to do.
Koreen, do you or any others know? Or know of a deductible way to donate to
NAPC?

My partner, Celini, and I were able to go to the IPC based on a scholarship
and financial assistance. It was, to us, a most wonderful experience. As we
are geographically isolated, living in a remote area in the far south of
Belize, and seldom travel, as our farm is full time work to manage, the
opportunity presented to meet so many people interested in and practicing
permaculture (including you), was amazing. Two months later, we had enough
funds that we could have covered the costs, but at the time of the IPC, we
were financially stressed.
Right now we do not have the funds to go, or the time, this is part of our
tree planting season, we would like to donate something to help someone else
so that they may be able to attend this. Considering how fortunate we were to
have had this opportunity made for us, it is the least we can do.
I am having problems with paypal. Is there a bank account I can cable USD100
to, or a site I can use my credit card?
Have fun. Solve the worlds problems!

Here is the exact 501C3 statement from our fiscal sponsor, ISI (this
organization is very service oriented and has been wonderful to work with -
well worth it for a new organization like NAPC).Â
Your contribution is tax-deductible as allowed by law. Â North American
Permaculture Convergence operates as a 501c3 non-profit charitable
organization in the United States under the auspices of itâs umbrella
organization, Inquiring Systems, Inc. A small percentage of revenue raised
(5% and under) goes to ISI in exchange for itâs administrative services.
Your tax documents will bear ISIâs name. Our tax identification number
(EIN) is 94-2524840. This acknowledgment is designed to comply with the
requirements of IRC Section 170(f)(8), as amended.

Iâm very excited to have two articles in the current issue of Permaculture
Activist (Autumn 2014, No. 93). The theme of this issue is âExperimentation
â Science in Permaculture.â
The issue, aside from my own ravings, is magnificent through and through. I
highly recommend it.
Now that it's out, Iâm also happy to share digital versions of both
articles. One is a re-worked version of the talk I gave in Cuba at the
Intâl Permaculture Congress last year, and Iâve given it the same title:
âPeopleâs Science or Pseudoscience?â
The other article is called âCritical Questions and Early Answers,â and
itâs a whirlwind tour of the last three years of permaculture research. I
use my three projects, in their various stages, as lenses on some big
questions of where weâre at and what we need to be paying attention to â
through the lens of agroecological science, the demographics of our
movement, and whatâs happening on the ground at US permaculture farms.
