It's not quite on the subject of permaculture, but the book
"Coyote's Guide to Connecting with Nature"[1] and the work of
the Wilderness Awareness School[2] cover mentoring with some
specific discussion of that age group. I have found it a really
valuable resource in developing educational material for teaching
and participating in complex systems.
