Being in a field in southern Niassa province, in Mozambique, listening
to a group of women and men members of a peasant and small farmers’
association sing a cappella while they wield their hoes is both
thrilling and supremely humbling. Particularly when you realize that the
song is being improvised and that they are singing about their
association movement and thanking you for dropping by.

These wise words come to mind, having done this kind of work myself for
decades with decades more to come:
"Be happy in your work" - chinamao
be content with your lot in life
enjoy what you do
always be in learning mode
About the hoes they are using:
That is a manufactured eye hoe imported to Mozambique for use by village
farmers. Brand is either:
Chillington - UK
Scovill - USA
SHW Forging - Germany
Belotta - Spain
a company in Portugal
