apologies for cross-posts...
Discovery would have Treehugger, Whale Wars, Attenbourough and now an
organic farming hit...

Please circulate:
I’m working with a producer with Discovery TV who is seeking an organic farm
to host a reality TV pilot.
Details:
· *What*: Organic farm – preferably with mixed produce / livestock
operations (makes for more interesting visuals)
· *Where*: Within 4 hours drive of downtown Los Angeles
· *When*: Fall 2009 (probably starting in September / October)
· *Duration*: as short as 30 days, as long as 90 days – this is
flexible
· *Who*: the show will place a handful (eg. 4-6) interns – not
Paris Hilton types, but students interested in agriculture, possibly
graduates with ag. Degrees – but generally have little or no experience
living / working on a farm
· *PLEASE *– she is NOT looking for intern candidates right now …
just great farm candidates.
There are many unknowns, including whether costs will be subsidized. I’m not
involved in that part!
Interested farms can send a brief email describing their operations,
location, etc. – please include name, farm name, location, phone, email and
website if available. The sooner the better – they’re trying to find a
farm-partner ASAP.
