Would you post the Nebraska contact point again please?
It didn't work out earlier but now there are more in the family and this idea looks better.

There are now food coops "on the Oklahoma plan"
operating in Idaho, Michigan, Denton (Texas) and
Nebraska. There are organizing campaigns in the
Ottawa Valley of Canada, western Kansas/Colorado
front range, and Iowa. The Iowa coop is planning,
I think, a February 2008 launch. Another Canadian
group called just before Christmas, they are
coming to our May delivery day and talked me into
doing a 2 day workshop for them. So we will
probably have another workshop for organizers of
Oklahoma Plan coops in May 2008. Access to these
groups can be found at

is an essay whose executive summary is "how to
replicate this in your own area". It talks about
permaculture, in particular, the "permacultured
kitchen".
