While I have not used one myself, I know several people who use - and like
- the Country Living Grain Mill.
This is a hand-operated mill, but it is expensive ($350). It has a
flywheel, as you can see in the photo.
It is said to be very easy to operate and the people I know who have one
use it regularly to make flour for several loaves of bread. One woman says
her five year old child can easily operate it.
