Please pardon the cross postings.
The NBC-E next week still has room for a few more people. And, if you can
only come for one day - or even just one evening - check into the RE&ST
Expo on Wednesday:
Renewable Energy+Sustainable Technology Exposition June 30,
2004
2004 Natural Building Colloquium-East June
26-July 3, 2004
Bath, New York (Finger Lakes Region of Central NY)
The Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology Exposition provides
opportunity for professional dialogues focused on the integration of
natural, green and renewable technologies into residences, community
buildings and the broader urban infrastructure. The aim of the RE+ST EXPO
is to bring together architects, engineers, code enforcement officers,
builders, government officials, policy makers, and related professionals in
order to strengthen the growing network of experts committed to developing
methodologies that produce healthy, economical and environmentally viable
building systems. Professional development credits (AIA and others) are
available for the Expo day.
The 2004 Natural BuildingColloquium East will be a week full of teaching,
building, and networking among professionals and neophytes in the fields of
natural building, permaculture, renewable energy and sustainable
technology. Hands-on workshops will work with the following: straw bales,
cob, timber framing, cordwood masonry, earth bag, papercrete, earthen
plasters, aliz finishes, living roofs, and more... Here's a quick link for
more information about both events:
