Oklahoma Food Update
Membership is past 60, we have 26 producers with Oklahoma foods to
sell, including 6 vegetable growers (five certified organic), and 11
meat producers.
Products that will be on our November price list include:
(All the vegetables listed are certified organic.) Turnips, turnip
greens, butternut squash, mustard greens, kale, arugula, beef (both
grain fed and grass finished), pork, lamb, farm raised venison,
buffalo, pastured chickens and turkeys, eggs, james, jellies, barbecue
sauces, spice mixes, stone ground organic wheat flour and corn meal,
honey, pecans, cheese, almonds, hand crafted soaps, banana nut,
blueberry, and pumpkin breads, salsa, seasonings, firewood, cedar
wood, fall decorations, certified organic dried corn, certified
organic animal and chicken feeds, bottled Oklahoma spring water,
certified organic grain.

Delivery to pickup places is available in Oklahoma City, Norman,
Edmond, Woodward/Enid, Tahlequah, and Stillwater. Home delivery is
available in OKC, Norman, and Edmond. The first delivery date is
November 20th, one week in advance of Thanksgiving.
On November 6th, 6:30 PM, we are having a banquet in Oklahoma City
featuring foods from nearly all of our producers. Many of them will
be present so you can meet them personally. Cost for the banquet for
members is $4.00, the non-member price is $8.00. Children 12 and
under eat for free. Four dollars of the non-member price may be
applied to a coop membership.

Thanks to everybody for your support. Less than a year ago this was
just a crazy idea floating around in cyberspace. Now it is a reality,
and we are getting ready for our inaugural banquet and first
order-delivery cycle in November. We invite you to join now, your
membership and patronage will help make Oklahoma a better and more
sustainable place to live, while at the same time giving your family
the best food for sale in Oklahoma during this holiday season.
