True but occams razor surely applies - a far fetched solution relying upon a
variety of dubious assumptions is much less likely to be correct than a
simpler
solution. I repeat Aluminium is a common component of soils being part of
every
clay molecule. Barium is often present in urban soils as a contaminant of
cement
production. Metal ions present in soil in high concentrations often has more
to do
with the soil pH than anything else.
