Toby's book, Gaia's Garden: A Guide to
Home-Scale Permaculture is up on the
Chelsea Green site http://www.chelseagreen.com/Garden/GaiasGarden.htm .
Looks like it will be very useful. And I'd love to wander
in the garden on the front cover. Looks diversified and interesting.
Also Joan Gussow has one coming out in June called This Organic Life:
Confessions of a Suburban Homesteader. Info about it is located at http://www.chelseagreen.com/Food/OrganicLifeRvw.htm .
As a conference speaker, she provides an excellent mix of data and
stories that allow the listener to build a picture of the point she is
making, and they are generally funny, poignant, or stunning as well.
I have also served on a committee with her where the information
she shared had a similar impact.
