| Hi Rhonda! Thanks for the link and the research! To answer your question: My favorites include The Moviegoer (and because it won the National Book Award, seems a logical first choice to include in the LoA). I also would choose Love in the Ruins, the first novel I read by Percy which made me a lifelong lover of his fiction, but also because it is so prescient about our society today. But I’d skip The Last Gentleman (which I never liked as much as the others despite the fact it was chosen for the Modern Library publication). For the LoA, I'd include my personal favorite, The Second Coming. I think Percy does his best job of female characterization in that novel, not to mention, it’s more upbeat, an enjoyable read. There’s tons of cool symbolism and allusions in it too. If I got to choose four, I’d add Lancelot as I think it is particularly well-written and tightly plotted. Karey
